This coat has definitely left me in a rather confusing situation. On the one hand I think it is the statement coat to rival all others and will be perfect for transitioning through winter as it can be worn both open or closed for two very different looks. But another part of me is screaming out that I must return the dressing gown-esque bathrobe back to Zara immediately. As I mentioned, it is from Zara and for the quality and darn right drama it brings with it, it was an absolute steal but I can't quite help thinking if it really is the coat that I had imagined it being.

Tres en Vogue
T-shirt | River Island, PU Skirt | Dorothy Perkins, Croc Shoes | Topshop, Celine Bag, Prada Round Sunglasses
Sorry I've been slightly MIA lately, I've been absolutely overwhelmed with university work and the prospect of my degree finishing in just over two months! It's been such a crazy time and will be until I finish so unfortunatly blogging has been put on the back burner for the foreseeable future. Today though, while perusing River Island I spotted this t-shirt, in fact several printed tees like this one, and I very nearly took it to the till and bought it. But I've decided that if I'm ever unsure whether to buy something or not I'm going to leave it and then try to plan a full outfit with it. If I can do this then it's something worth buying; if not then it definitely isn't.
I absolutely love this look I've put together, especially the monochrome and the added the pop of colour from the coat. This would also look great with the pink coat I already own from Topshop, I have quite a thing for bright coats at the moment. I think this is an outfit I could wear everyday and I pretty much own a variation of everything here anyway! Minus the Celine, one day hopefully...
Would you wear this outfit? Do you like seeing these kinds of styling posts?

Slip Ons | Celine Inspired
H&M (here) Topshop (here)
Lately there has been a real influx of slip-on, Celine inspired shoes donning the feet of anyone and everyone and I have to say, at first I wasn't so sure. They kind of remind me of old-school looking skater Vans, which I am not at all a fan of but the slip-on style has definitely grown on me and I'm even considering getting myself a pair...shock horror!
Celine has some amazing offerings lately including leopard and the ever popular 'laundry bag' print above. Unofrtunatly Celine is not in my future at the moment, so I have my eye on a croc-effect Topshop pair and even a pair of satin looking leopard ones from H&M. Decisions decisions...
