Camel Blanket Scarf

While my usual colour palette of monochrome black and white is well and truly in my comfort zone, I'm really trying to embrace colour, especially when it comes to jeans. I reignited my love for these mom-style jeans in last weeks outfit and here they are once again making an appearance, despite this one still centring around my favourite clothing colour. Black.

What's In My Handbag? | Video

I'm inquisitive by nature, so it probably won't come as a surprise that I love what's in my bag posts; even more so if they're beauty or fashion related. I thought doing a post with photos simply wouldn't be enough so you are in for a treat with a new video where I rummage through the contents of my everyday bag.

purchases | mulberry maisie clipper leather & suede

Mulberry Maisie Clipper - Black

I'll be the first to admit that when it comes to Mulberry bags, I've never been one to dream of owning 'the perfect Mulberry'. Now don't get me wrong, they are beautiful bags and anyone who owns one is very lucky, but the standard Alexa, Bayswater and Del Rey have never really made me really really want one. That being said, as soon as I clapped eyes on the beautiful Maisie Clipper in black I knew it had to be mine with its unique embossed leather detailing, suede side panels and gold hardware - it's perfect! And so you might have guessed, I bought it...oooops!

Now firstly, the above photograph do not at all reflect its sheer amazingness but instead do show just how difficult it is to photograph an all black object. Photos aside, this bag is literally my new prized possession and having used it once already, I can tell it's going to become my most used bag by a long way! It's super spacious inside but from the outside it doesn't actually look that big surprisingly. It has the main section and then a smaller phone pocket and zipped sections inside and on the back so perfect for people who like to carry a lot I'd say! A Mulberry really is an investment piece in my eyes one that is well worth it for me personally, these bags are beautifully made and the leather is the softest I've ever felt; I'm more than happy with my purchase and I still can't quite believe I own it in all honesty!

Are you a fan of Mulberry bags? Which one is your dream to own?

purchases | mulberry continental wallet in dark blush & rose gold

Mulberry Continental Wallet in Dark Blush - Mulberry

The list of designer items that I dream of owning is literally longer than the M6 motorway (maybe a slight exaggeration) and one item that's been top of that list and on my mind for a while now is the Mulberry continental wallet, in particular, the blush pink/rose gold style. With handbags, I'd quite happily own a hundred and one and change them up on a daily basis but when it comes to purses, I really wanted one that was good quality, classic and would last me a good few years, so introducing my new purse and my first ever (but hopefully not last) purchase from Mulberry.

Last week I found myself with enough available funds to finally buy my dream purse and thus begins the Mulberry affair. This purse (or wallet) is perfect for me as it has a lot of space for cards, money, receipts and even a handy back pocket for cinema tickets or coupons etc. The outside is goats leather with rose gold hardware and the inside is a mix of leather and canvas with the iconic mulberry tree print. I absolutely love this purse and I hope to have it for many years to come; it was totally worth the price for such a classic and well made piece.

Do you own anything from Mulberry? What is your dream item from the designer?
