As you probably already know, I'm a monochrome-aholic and I'd say over 90% of my wardrobe is black, white or grey - with the exception of a few more colourful coats - so this kind of outfit is definitely my go-to at the moment. Even more so when the weather is wet, dark and dingy like it has been so often lately. Roll on slightly less winter weather; I'd be happy if it was autumn all year round to be fair...
H&M cape, TOPSHOP trousers, MARKS & SPENCER jumper, NEW LOOK shoes, PRADA sunglasses
I picked this cape up from the accessory section in H&M (it's apparently classed as a scarf/poncho) and have been loving it ever since, it's so thick and so surprisingly warm for what it is. I stuck with simple styling for this outfit and paired the cape with a plain black roll neck (which is actually a peplum style but shhh), leather trousers and these New Look brogues that I haven't worn in absolutely ages! I also brought out my rather un-weather appropriate sunglasses as I felt like they enhanced the look and made me feel very drama school-esque wearing them.
Anyway, I hope you all had a lovely weekend and the Monday working woes are hitting you too much!
Love the cape, I especially like that it has arm holes!
