The Coat

This coat has definitely left me in a rather confusing situation. On the one hand I think it is the statement coat to rival all others and will be perfect for transitioning through winter as it can be worn both open or closed for two very different looks. But another part of me is screaming out that I must return the dressing gown-esque bathrobe back to Zara immediately. As I mentioned, it is from Zara and for the quality and darn right drama it brings with it, it was an absolute steal but I can't quite help thinking if it really is the coat that I had imagined it being.

All doubts aside (and I'll be sure to keep you updated on it's status in my wardrobe), I do think this coat can make an otherwise boring outfit look statement, case and point with this monochrome, super casual look feat. Nike trainers and an oversized tee. I also like that worn open it gives a very Kim Kardashian, Celine coat style look - anything to emulate Kim's style is a bonus with me - while worn closed it is much more fitted and serves more as a weather appropriate coat, rather than a statement 'accessory'.
