Lo and behold, last year's coat worn for the first time this week. I'm not really sure why I kept this brighter-than-bright pink coat hidden away for the whole of last A/W but I'm going to put it down to my shyness to colour. But that is definitely going to changer this year...

This outfit was actually inspired by a River Island store window but they went for a pastel coat whereas I wanted to really contrast the monochrome with the boldest coat I could find in my wardrobe. As I mentioned in my last post, I've been stuck in a boring black/grey rut and while this outfit is still mainly black (and white) I think it's definitely more interesting with the layers and and coat.
